Opened in the Summer of 2006, Pointe West Resort has quickly become one of Galveston Island’s favorite retreats! The 1000 acre property is located on the last 3 1/2 miles of the west end of the island. The community caters to all, from tourists to weekenders to families, Pointe West has become a tradition for many.

 

Please bring your bikes, scooters, rollerblades, etc. to navigate this family-friendly neighborhood. Many people rent golf carts, as well. Please visit the Pointe West Beach Club home page for more information on rentals.

Location, location, location! This property is right by the beach, literally a 2 minute walk. Ocean views from the upstairs balcony. Very clean property in a family oriented neighborhood. There were a couple of minor issues and Ryan was extremely responsive and answered right away. We simply can't wait for the next visit. Highly recommended.

I loved the house for sure, perfect location, close to beach, lots of beach items to use. Provided extra baby supplies that was unexpected. The house was very clean. The easiest stress free check out I've experienced. I have already told someone how nice it is. Club access was great. Definitely a great option to stay at!

We LOVED our stay here. We go to Galveston every year and this was our favorite place. The walk to the beach was easy to do with 4 kids under 6 yrs old. We could go back and forth for naps with no problem. The house was so easy to get to and Ryan left clear instructions for everything. The cleaning company they use did a great job and even left supplies for us like a new sponge, detergent, trash bags etc. the rooms were spacious and they have two beautiful balconies overlooking the ocean! Highly recommend this place. Ryan checked on us during our stay and replied immediately when we had a question about checkout. We will stay again!

Ryan and his wife was very kind, helpful, and accommodating. The property over exceeded my expectations inside and out. I would definitely recommend staying at this air bnb property. The neighborhood is very quiet, seems safe, and very well manicured. We were able to enjoy ourselves without violating the noise ordinance which was a plus! Ryan’s place is beautiful and in a top-notch, quiet neighborhood with great views. The beach is closer than it looks in photos and feels almost private. House was clean and well-equipped—coffee, utensils, spices (missing oil, but minor). Garage code instructions could be clearer, and balcony doors need maintenance. We had a power outage on day one, but Ryan refunded that night. Sleeps 10 comfortably; 12 might feel tight. Great for families with kids. Would stay again!
